Introducing Crimson Global Academy’s new Gender-Sexuality Alliance (GSA)!

If you were a student at CGA back in 2021/2022, you may remember our old GSA.

Unfortunately, the club became inactive, so we have decided to relaunch it with a brand new

structure! The club will be starting its activities soon in preparation for the International Day

Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) on May 17, so read on to find out

how you can join us!

What is a GSA?

•  A GSA is an organisation that provides a supportive environment for members of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies.
• The first gender-sexuality alliance was formed in 1988 in the USA. Originally they were called gay-straight alliances.
• These spaces have been historically important in creating an empowering and safe community where people are free to express themselves.

Who is invited to join?

•  Anyone is free to join! People of all genders and sexualities are welcome, as long as you support us in maintaining an accepting club!
• CGA’s GSA will be sure to keep everyone’s identities private when joining; this is important to us.
• This club is open to all campuses! Aoraki, Greenwich, and the USA.

What activities will be involved?

We will be:

• fundraising for charity
•  planning events
• writing articles
• starting a book club and movie club for LGBTQ+ media
• just chatting, and more!
